My Favorite Videogames of All Time

#5 Super Mario Brothers (Nintendo)

This games is a personal favorite of mine. 

Growing up I would literally wake up and play this game for hours on end. 

What made this game fun was not the graphics, the storyline, or the voice acting, what made this game fun was the gameplay. 

Who knew jumping on guys that looked liked mushrooms could be so much fun.  That is why Super Mario Bros is my number five.

 #4 Goldeneye 007 (N64)

Easily one of the best first person shooting games ever made.  This game helped shape every first person shooter that came after it, yes even call of duty. I remember first playing it, me and my friends would stay up all night just gaming and having a good time.  Do not let me forget about the campaign. The multiplayer often overshadows it but the campaign was fantastic it not only had a great story but it also had the gamer always thinking, which is something that is missing from most first person shooters of today. That is why Goldeneye 007 is my number four.

#3 Fallout 3 (Xbox 360)

 My favorite role playing game of all time. I instatnly fell in love with it. The game really immerses you into the action and you become attached to the characters throughout the storyline. Another thing that I really like about the game is that it allows you to be good or evil, but thats not all, the decisions you make have huge impacts on the game. You can even decide to set off a nuclear bomb, how cool is that!?! And if your not into rpgs you can always play the game like a first person shooter killing everything in site. That is why Fallout 3 is my number three.


#2 The Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time (N64)

The Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time was years ahead of its competition. It was probably the best game of all time during its time and to many people it still is. It was so innovativefor its time, the game had a huge world where the gamer could travel around in, there was even time in the game which played a huge part in the world around you, including the ability to travel back and fourth in time. The controlls were perfect and used all the controllers capabilities.  Zelda Orcarina of Time also has numerous puzzles so you will always be thinking which is a great change of pace after killing a few enemies. Overall Zelda Orcarina of Time is just a fantastic game even compared to todays action adventure games.  That is why The Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time is my number two.

#1 Half life 2 (PC)

My favorite game of all time for obvious reasons, lets just put it this way, it is the Mona Lisa of pc shooters. This game is flawless, the graphics, the story, the gameplay, they are all spectacular. The only thing valve did wrong was not making the game longer(only because i want to play it even more). In fact sitting here writing about this game is making me want to go play it right now. I could go on and on about it but until you play it you will not understand. If you have not played Half Life 2 yet and you own a computer or any console for that matter you need to buy it now.  That is why Half Life 2 is my number one.
